What household doesn’t have a tablet today? Ok, put your hands down and find another plan. This wood plan is about as simple as it gets and you can go modern or rustic. Find a great slab of reclaimed lumber and get to work. You should be able to find the perfect piece of lumber in your workshop, garage, shed, barn, or at the curb on garbage day. The key is that they appreciate the look of your piece.
One note… Be sure that this piece of lumber is free of anything metallic prior to cutting your groove to hold your tablet. A single nail is not only dangerous, but it will do wonders (in a bad way) to your blade.
