Tall Planter Plans with Hidden Hose Storage

This is an easy and fun project. We have some PVC planters that are way past their prime. Since it is time for some new planters, I thought I would take the time to find a cool looking replacement. Well, thanks to the wonders of my “Instructables” daily email, these planters found me!

The maker even applied a technique named Shou Sugi Ban to protect and finish the wood.

Materials Needed (for each planter)
(3) 1 x 6 x 8′ Cedar Board
(2) 2 x 2 x 8′ Pressure Treated Board
2 ½” Decking Screws
(2) Magnetic Cabinet Latch
