

Free Bat House Plans

Bats help to reduce annoying insects but they need a place to live. These free plans are the perfect way to increase the bats in your area without having them move into your attic.
There is even a video tutorial to go along with this project and a bat template.
Here is your shopping list:
- 2×4 section of ½” exterior-grade plywood
- 1×2 at 6’ (1)
- ½” Deer Netting
- Your Choice Exterior Paint
- Low-VOC Adhesive Caulk
- 1” Deck Screws
- 3/8” Staples
- 3 ½” Deck Screws

- Measure Tape
- Straight Edge
- Combination Square
- Spring Clamps
- Safety Glasses
- Jigsaw
- French Curve and Circle Templates (or Download Template Included in Plans)
- Drill/Driver Fitted with ¼” Drill Bits
- Caulking Gun
- Paintbrush- 2”
- Foam Roller- 4”
- Scissors
- Staple Gun
