With Easter fast approaching make sure your bunny has a place to live in comfort. These free plans will make your bunny at home in your backyard.
You will need the following materials:
- Plywood
- Hinges
- Wood Boards (2×4 recommended)
- Nails or Screws
- Ties (Metal)
- Wires
- Shingles (Optional but Recommended)
Gather the necessary tools:
- Drill with Bits
- Gloves
- Eye Goggles
- Tape Measure
- Saw (Any Type)
- Wire Cutter
These plans leave room for making the hutch match the size of your rabbit. They even suggest sizes based upon the type of rabbit.
Increasing the height of the legs will make taking care of your rabbit easier on your back and knees. The addition of a pan will make for easier clean-up of waste and other debris. Putting shingles on the hutch will make it more aesthetically pleasing and help protect your rabbit from the elements.
