This is a simple yet elegant jewelry box.  The directions call for padauk and yellowheart woods but any two contrasting colored exotic woods will do.  This could be made from scraps that are too beautiful to be found in the dustbin.

The free plans can be downloaded as a five page pdf.  It can then be printed for easy reference.  There is a well-drawn illustration to get a good overview of all the pieces and dimensions of the build.  If you use different woods from those suggested you might want to change the plans with your choices to avoid confusion.
