What time is it?! That’s right, it’s Christmas time. Snow begins to fall for some of us. Christmas lights flicker on the tree. Egg nog is drank by the gallon, but most of all are the presents! Some big video game titles popped up this year so make sure you are prepared for all the new systems and games. The kind folks at minwax.com have provided a very special plan for how to create a state-of-the-art video game storage device.

After going over the plan scrupulously with a fine tooth comb, it does seem to be a tad bit more difficult than the past few projects have been. No worries though! With a little tough work your home can sigh in relief as the mounds of video games and consoles are tucked neatly away out of sight.

Instead of preaching to the people about how to be careful and how to make sure this is done right, why not have the professionals fill us in on a little inside knowledge. MinWax gives us a nifty little bulleted list of what you should be prepared for. Everybody loves bulleted lists!

  • Carefully and fully review plans and instructions before putting a tool to the project lumber.
  • Work sensibly and safely. Wear safety goggles.  Wear the appropriate respirator whenever making sawdust or working with thinners or other solvents.
  • At the end of every work session, clean up your shop area and put away all portable tools.

Thank you MinWax for this great advice!  Couldn’t have said it better myself.  Be prepared to use your whole shop on this one.  It is considered an intermediate project.  If you think you have what it takes to build such a mystical contraption then click that there image which will take you straight to the pdf plan, and as always, stay crafty!
