simple dresser plans

These free plans come from the folks at Woodworker’s Journal.  If you are a woodworker, you should probably subscribe to the publication.

I selected this dresser plan as an item to share due to the simplicity of the design. When you have something that is so simple, it provides you the opportunity to get creative.  This plan will show you the basic method for creating a dresser with drawers and from there you can let your imagination go wild.

You can change scale, double it up to create a 6 drawer chest, or even stack to create a taller dresser.  The basic techniques are the same.  Create the carcass and then decide how you are going to embelish, trim, and finish.

Good luck with this very detailed wood plan from the folks at Woodworker’s Journal.
