Free King Size Headboard Plans

Need a headboard?  Build your own.

Building a bed seems like a daunting task.  To be honest, it is not as a big a deal as it sounds.  Your sizes are limited, there are a LOT of reference photos and the amount of material is not too large.

The following headboard plan is from the Handyman Club.  If you are a woodworker, you have probably received a solicitation to join the club in the past.  They offer some free plans on their web site and this is one that we chose to feature.

This is a nice headboard with a 3 panel construction.  The most advanced part might just be the top rail that is machined with various techniques.  You could get creative and come up with your own design based on this core construction.
