A garden bed might not seem like the ideal project now that the snow has started to fly in most areas around the country, but I want to be sure that we are ready when spring comes. If you have the room for this garden bed, there is no reason that you wouldn’t build it and put it in place waiting for spring.
This garden bed plan comes from “addicted to decorating”. This is the kind of site that I like since it doesn’t just focus on a woodworking project. Instead the site features many projects and plans for a DIY’er throughout a home.
The garden bed plan is well laid out and each step includes a detailed photo showing that step and leaving no chance of a mistake due to a vague description without a photo. We have all been in that maddening position, haven’t we? I know that I have spent a good deal of time “talking” to the writer of the plans while building a project.
In any event. Get ready for spring VERY early. Or, you can build a garden bed as a wonderful Christmas present.
Ours might just go on our patio and keep some of our outdoor furniture elevated for the winter. It should also make a terrific barrier / home base for the first big snowball fight!
