Free Child’s Rocker Plans

It is fairly often that I come across a wood plan and wonder why I can’t design something that is simple, stylish, and strong. My plans tend to get too elaborate and I envy those who can simplify. I guess that is a discussion topic for a left brain, right brain forum.
Back on topic. The following plan is for a child’s rocker. It from Taunton Press and was originally published back in 2002 in the book “Children’s Furniture Projects” by Jeff Miller.
This rocker is something that you can have fun with in terms of the design. You can choose to shape the back however you see fit and the rocker sides could be reshaped to create the silhouette of an animal or a vehicle. Paint will do wonders in creating a great design. If you do make modifications to the sides, be sure to retain the shape and balance of the rocker. This is key to safety when it comes to a rocker.
