Plans for a Planter with Trellis
Outdoor Plans July 22, 2010 WoodworkCity 0

If you are anything like my wife, your patio garden might be getting a little out of hand right about now. The runaway cucumber plant needs some support. This project is for a planter with a trellis that will help the plantings to move up rather than out. The planter box plan is as simple as they come. There are few cuts and the planter can be built with stock material from your local home store. Your cost should end up at around $30 to $40. The plans call for pressure treated lumber, but you can use other material such as cedar or redwood. I wouldn’t recommend a wood like pine since the wood is very likely to rot outdoors (especially when filled with damp soil).
