Beautuful and Free Bird Feeder Plans
Outdoor Plans February 6, 2007 WoodworkCity 2

These bird feeder plans are from Plansnow and are especially useful at this time of the year. If you live in the northeast, the ground is probably snow covered and there might not be a lot of food available for the birds.
If you aren’t a bird lover, you don’t have to be. This bird feeder is beautiful. It is a great gift and a fun project. I have to say that it might not weather all that well unless you use quality material and adhesives. I built mine about 10 years ago and it is still around today. The copper roof was a very cool feature and the detailed trim work dresses this up. You would be proud to display this bird feeder inside your home!
If you have a hard time locating the material, check out your local hobby store. Most of what you need is available to the outdoor railroad crowd.

Unfortunately it looks like they removed this free plan and are redirecting to the workbench page.
The original plan was in Woodsmith Magazine (issue 106. The issue with a Jewelry cabinet on the cover). I have a copy, but I don’t believe that I can republish. You can find it in the following page:
http://www.woodsmithlibrary.com/browse/
Issue 106: http://www.woodsmith.com/magazine/issues/106/
When you visit the page, you are able to view a PDF preview of the issue (small scale). You can subscribe and receive their entire back library. It is really a terrific publication.
I found someone selling their issue on Amazon:
Good luck.
