</script></div><p>The following plan is for a potting bench that calls for cedar wood.  Cedar is terrific since it is naturally resistant to the elements.  It isn&#8217;t going to hold up like a pressure treated wood, but western red cedar doesn&#8217;t have all of the chemicals associated with that product.  When shopping for cedar, you will probably have to call a building supply company. I prefer to use 5/4 radius edge decking for my outdoor cedar projects.  It is sturdy and abundant.</p>
<p>On to the garden potting bench.  Notice the nice design on this unit.  It has a grate that acts like a flat surface and will also allow your material to be brushed through.  A nice concept.<br />
