I was contacted today from a gentleman looking to build a folding bench with his youth group. I have put together the plans below for a couple of variations on this theme. The folding bench, or folding table is a great woodworking plan. You can make it as something that is rather intricate, or simple. Take your pick and good luck building your folding bench or folding table. Click the picture for a link to the complete wood plan.

A fellow woodworker asked if I had a plan for a folding workbench or work center. I was able to come up with a few and have listed them here. A folding work bench is an ideal solution for a small shop, or for a shop that shares floor space in the garage.

The next folding workbench plan is ideal for someone looking for a fixed bench, but needs to make room for other tools. It attaches to your shop wall and folds down to make room. It has a 2 tier design that is quite clever.

The final folding workbench plan is almost a combination of the first 2 plans. It attaches to a wall and folds down, yet has ample work surface similar to the first workbench.

Good luck with whichever plan you select.

This isn’t so much a woodworking plan as an aparatus, but after my mailbox was destroyed by a snowplow I felt the need to locate some protection.
This is a patent, so I am not sure if there is an actual product behind it. Good luck if you choose to modify this into a woodworking plan to protect your own mailbox.
