Free Planter Box Plans
More planter box plans. We posted earlier about a set of planter box plans from Black and Decker.
This is a slightly different style, but has the same simple construction. These planter boxes are constructed of 2″x4″ and 2″x2″ lumber along with some basic deck screws and nails. There isn’t a lot to the construction, yet the horizontal design gives it a unique look.
Good luck with all of your outdoor projects this season and please let me know if there is a free wood plan you need. I will locate and post the following day.

huh, sweet. i never thought of alternating the bars horizontally – i was all concerned i would have to use biscuits to join the corners. what a clever idea.

If you just tongue-and-groove for the sides you will get even more support.
Tongue and groove would really stiffen things up. Thanks for the input Adam.
The link to the plans on the B&D site is broken…Rather its not on the B&D site. Does anyone have the actual plans that I could get?

That seems to happen a lot with the larger publishers or manufacturers. They modify the system that they use to manage their site and tend to blow a lot of great content out.

I INTEND TO ASSEMBLE THE SIDES WITH POCKET SCREWS AND GLUE THE WIFE WANTS TO USE IT AS A DRY WELL NOT PLANTER
