Here are some great pergola plans from shade-cloth-diy.com. This is a site that is doing a great job trying to sell their shade cloth. What better way, but to provide plans for a number of objects that call for their shade cloth. There are a couple of other businesses who do the same thing. One is Minwax and the other is Delta. I know that there are many more. If you have any favorite “Corporate” plan sites, please included them in the comments below.

These are great pergola plans and the site also provides plans for a larger version, some garden screens and other products. Good luck and enjoy the shade.

These nesting tables are elegant. You can modify the lumber used in the apron to achieve a very unique look. Using the basic table construction, you could make other modifications to ensure that your project is a truly unique piece. Alter the tabletop shape, modify the wood used, or create an inlay. The construction in this project will provide you with a lot of options to work from.

This workcenter could be used in the workshop, craft area, garage, or outdoors. This is a real versatile project ant the plans are as thorough as the get. The plans come from GP (Georgia Pacific) and are very detailed. There is a full material list and cut list along with an exploded view of the project. In my opinion, a woodworking plan with an exploded view is the best reference for any project.

This picnic shelter might be referred to as a park shelter. This is a plan that is really a blueprint for this outdoor structure. If you have some property, or need plans for an outbuilding this is a great plan to work off of.
The plans call for a structure that is approximately 20′ x 12′ and has a fireplace at one end. This is a great project for a campsite, lake house, or large property.
This is really more than a woodworking plan. This is a scale blueprint that you could execute on your own, or give to a builder who could construct this from the blueprint.

Click the snapshot for the full blueprint. It is a PDF file. Good luck. Don’t try this one alone.
Don’t forget to include a picnic table or two when working on your project and ordering your material.

These bookcase plans are a great example of how easy it can be to build a carcass of any size that can be dressed up with trim, finished and look like a $500 piece. The example show might fall a little short of that, but once you have the construction basics, you can trim out the carcass and end up with a beautiful piece.
This free plan will give you the basic understanding of bookcase construction. It is your job to take it from there!

Good luck.

Here are some plans for an adjustable lounger that is a number of things.
- Easy to build
- Reasonable cost for material
- Comfortable
- Attractive (depending on your taste. Minimalists will appreciate it)
- Few tools needed
- Few power tools needed

This patio lounger can be built from a number of different material. If it will be exposed to the elements on a patio or deck that isn’t covered, you should use a wood that is naturally resistant to rot or decay. A couple of examples are Redwood, Cedar, or Mahogany.
Good luck.

This is a workstation, computer desk, or task desk that is made from 1 single sheet of 4′ x 8′ plywood. The final width is 32″ and usually enough for a simple workstation. This is a terrific woodworking project for a school who is looking to equip a computer lab on a budget. This is also a great project for a parent looking to build a nice starter desk for their kids room. As always, this is a good project for a parent to work on with their child.
These plans were found on a personal home page, so I hope that they last. If not, e-mail me. I have a local copy of the plan.
