These woodworking plans are for a bench that converts to a table, or if you like, a table that converts to a bench. Either way, it is a great table project that is functional, easy to store and simple to build. The plans are from HGTV’s Fix It Up! : Episode FIX-1112.
Materials:
- 2×4 and 2×6 pressure-treated lumber
- tape measure
- miter saw
- band saw (for two top back supports)
- safety glasses
- dust mask
- 3″ and 4″ carriage bolts
- 2-1/2″ galvanized screws
- drill
- eye bolts
- 4′ level
- random orbit sander
- belt sander
- 100 and 220 grit sandpaper
- clean, lint-free cloth
- solid-color water-based stain (or clear coat)
- rollers and brushes
