Convertable Table Plans

These woodworking plans are for a bench that converts to a table, or if you like, a table that converts to a bench.  Either way, it is a great table project that is functional, easy to store and simple to build.  The plans are from HGTV’s Fix It Up! : Episode FIX-1112.

Materials:

• 2×4 and 2×6 pressure-treated lumber
• tape measure
• miter saw
• band saw (for two top back supports)
• safety glasses
• dust mask
• 3″ and 4″ carriage bolts
• 2-1/2″ galvanized screws
• drill
• eye bolts
• 4′ level
• random orbit sander
• belt sander
• 100 and 220 grit sandpaper
• clean, lint-free cloth
• solid-color water-based stain (or clear coat)
• rollers and brushes
